Besides being an urban ministry pioneer, Mo is an accomplished singer-song-writer and recording artist, an effective teacher and urban theologian, an inspirational speaker and storyteller. Mo has been called by some a poet-prophet, a minstrel on a mission. Cornerstone Magazine described his music as a “folksy, bluesy slice of real-life pie – new acoustic at its best…no kidding!” Mo’s Sacred Desires single climbed to number 1 on the charts in Seattle, Washington. He has been featured in Christianity Today, World Magazine, CCM magazine and many other publications. He has published his first book of prose and poetry and has lectured at Reformed Theological Seminary, Covenant Seminary, New Orleans Baptist Seminary and many other colleges and higher learning institutions. He has been featured on the 700 Club and is the recipient of many awards including The Angel Award – a statewide community service award sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. He has been named one of the 50 persons to watch by New Orleans Magazine and one of Louisiana’s Most Extraordinary Persons by WWL Radio and Hibernia Bank. Mo is available on a limited basis to visit your city, ministry organization or church for any combination of the above opportunities. Please contact Mo directly via e-mail regarding your interest.
