Rebirth International is an emerging New Orleans-based urban ministry with a global vision. Founder and president Mo Leverett brings nearly 20 years experience in urban community revitalization in the Desire Housing Project of the Upper Ninth Ward. His perspective, enduring vision, and unique incarnational ministry model continue to inspire new efforts throughout and beyond this devastated city.

Put shortly, Rebirth International is phase II for Mo.

While Mo, his family, and dedicated staff hammered out a model of incarnational urban ministry, indigenous leadership development and community transformation initiatives at DSM, he is now looking to replicate those principles and ministry models in other impoverished communities wherever the Lord, by His providence, leads.

In addition to the excitement and anticipation that phase II of Mo’s ministry will be even more fruitful than the first, Mo continues his creative work as an accomplished musician,
singer/song writer, producer, and public speaker. He has recorded nearly ten CDs and spoken and performed before thousands nationwide.

Mo’s music is the outgrowth of his many experiences and reflections as He lived out incarnational ministry principles in one of the most challenged urban communities in the U.S.
